40 year old Zak Mir is our Technical Analysis Editor. An LSE drop-out, in 2000 Zak started writing for thestreet.co.uk and UK-iNvest. He resigned as technical editor of Shares Magazine to start his own website and appears regularly on Bloomberg TV and CNBC as well as masterminding his own Technical Analysis site Zaks-TA.com. Hobbies centre around music, songwriting and keeping his wife sweet.
Richard Gill
Richard Gill is the Senior Writer at the t1ps.com group of newsletters and websites. Always having a high interest in the stock market Richard studied Business Management at Kings College, London, graduating in 2006. Richard joined T1ps.com in 2007 as a writer on the AIM & PLUS Newsletter and soon moved up to the position of Editor. His work involves meeting literally hundreds of smaller company directors every year and has taken him to places as far a field as Plymouth Harbour, an antenna factory in Northampton and down a coal mine in South Wales. Richard’s work was recognised by the City in April 2008 when he was elected by a panel of industry heavyweights as the PLUS Journalist of the Year at the inaugural PLUS Investors Awards ceremony. He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and having passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst examination in summer 2010 is now studying hard for Level II. Away from work Richard is keen on supporting Bradford City, politics, horse racing, musicals and playing guitar.
